Born and raised in Iran, Dr. Ali Meschi* came to the United States in 1977 to pursue an education in conventional medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. Due to the difficult political situation in Iran, transferring funds became impossible and he was forced to abandon his dream of becoming a conventional medical doctor. In 1978, Dr. Meschi moved to California where he met and married his wife, Min. Having given up his plans in medicine, he tried a variety of other vocations, none of which satisfied him.
Shortly after their son was born in 1989, Dr. Meschi was diagnosed with two different cancers, for which he was told there was no cure. Unwilling to subject his body to chemotherapy, Dr. Meschi began an intense study of holistic medicine, creating a rigorous protocol of herbs, nutrition, lifestyle and dietary changes, and various alternative therapies to bring his body back into balance, all with his conventional medical doctor monitoring his progress. A devoutly spiritual man, he also collaborated regularly with his creator to find a way to heal naturally. Using his signature holistic protocols, Dr. Meschi successfully healed from both colon cancer and testicle cancer, as well as the threat of possible brain cancer.
After returning to school and completing his studies in 1999, he opened a holistic medicine practice in Laguna Hills, California and began implementing the science-based nutritional and detoxification protocols he had used to heal his own illness, along with alternative modalities he had studied on several research trips around the world. As the health of his clients improved from using these non-invasive, drug-free protocols, they shared their stories with their conventional medical doctors. As a result, Dr. Meschi began building strong collaborative relationships with many of these doctors, which he maintains to this day.
In 2007, he was invited to collaborate with The National Cancer Institute and has submitted several of his successful cases to them in the advancement of cancer treatment using a holistic modality, especially breast cancer. In 2012, Dr. Meschi was invited to an orphanage in India by the Dalai Lama to present his experience and expertise to help to local community. In 2014, Dr. Meschi was invited to present one of his breast cancer treatment protocols and its results at the Annual International Congress on Nutrition and Integrative Medicine (“ICNIM”) in Sapporo, Japan. In 2015, he joined the Medical International Alliance and is still a member today, traveling the world to demo the latest technological modalities in healthcare. He also participated in a documentary at Chapman University in 2020 on the collaboration between alternative and conventional medicine.
Dr. Meschi does not malign one therapy over another, but instead focuses on what is best for the person. His goal is to advance the use of evidence-based, non-invasive nutritional therapies that are the most effective and least stressful on the body. He has authored articles on his methods and presents his findings in various alternative medicine forums to further these goals.
Dr. Meschi passionately believes that good health is attainable for anyone who authentically desires to participate in his or her own healing and believes that we all have the power to heal ourselves. He looks at healing as an adventure in the mind/body/spirit connection, bringing untold thrilling rewards to the true health seeker.
